Collection: Evan Kinori

Based in San Francisco, Evan Kinori has been designing clothes made to last since 2015. A former skater who studied philosophy before turning to design, he still drafts his patterns by hand, at full scale.

His pieces start with natural-fibre fabrics sourced from mills, many of them family-run, in Japan, Europe and the UK. Relaxed cuts, muted colours, careful finishing: understated everyday clothes that age well and can be handed down. He calls them "slow clothes": designed with intention and produced in small quantities.

Named GQ's Breakthrough Designer of the Year in 2020, he deliberately works away from the fashion capitals.

Les Natures Mortes presents a selection of his pieces, to discover and try on at the gallery, by appointment.
